In the second semester of grade 10 I joined an art club, “The Art Public Security Club”, and we held an art exhibition with the theme of "Black eyes" in grade 10. In the first semester of grade 11, we finally realized the project we had been busy with since the summer vacation -- inviting artists from The Central Academy of Fine Arts to give lectures in our school.

We began to plan this project from the summer vacation, because the former president decided to take a year off from school to find her inspiration for painting. Another student and I took over the club and began to follow up this project. We got in touch with the students of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, reported to the teachers of the school and decided on the time and place of the lecture.

Finally, on November 19, 2021, the lecture was held as scheduled.

Dazhi is one of my favorite artists in the audience, and she introduced us to some of her works, which may seem obscure on the surface, but are actually very philosophical in their interpretation. (Therefore, I firmly believe that the exhibition really needs a narrator or audio to better understand the paintings)

These two, for example, are the two pieces that she took from the waste of life and made them into harmonious new works

She thinks it is when we give a qualitative item, such as we start to called a chair "chair", tell everyone the role of the chair is used to sit, we have already lost the chair itself of the nature of the material. Most of her works are composed of life waste, but not according to the people's thinking inertia to line up. The combination of golf balls and pages, for example, makes people pay more attention to the essence of things rather than the use of materials, and do not get trapped by the mind itself.
